\u201cA Week with Nature\u201d, begins\u00a0 at\u00a0 Jimmy McGilligan Centre For Sustainable Development\u00a0 on June1, 2017 . This week\u00a0\u00a0 long\u00a0\u00a0 (June1-6,2017 ) programme \u00a0is aimed\u00a0 at involving and seeking peoples particiapation in \u00a0\u00a0UNEP\u2019s World Environment Day<\/strong> programme on\u00a0 June 5, 2017 \u201cto think globally and act locally<\/strong>\u201d .<\/strong><\/p>\n

During this week,\u00a0 Jimmy McGilligan Centre will be\u00a0 organizing and hosting daily experiences with Nature and practical\u00a0 activities like interactions\u00a0 drawing ,painting and\u00a0 learning\u00a0 for people\u00a0\u00a0 of all age-groups coming\u00a0 from all walks of life ( all free of cost) .<\/p>\n

The Centre will\u00a0 facilitate\u00a0 process of sensitizing people, making them aware and realize and internalize\u00a0 the urgency and need\u00a0 to act\u00a0 individually as well as collectively to protect and conserve nature that includes Mineral, Vegetable\u00a0 and Animal Kingdoms. Programmes will be participatory and interactive .Activities will include viewing\u00a0 Nature in its different forms like\u00a0\u00a0 Raining.Sunrise, Sun set, bird watching, moon & stars-gazing, to understand the need to save Mother\u00a0 Earth all the Five elements of Creation ,Conserve\u00a0 Natural Resources by activities like\u00a0 walk with herd of goats\/ cows and listen to\u00a0 Music, Poetry and\u00a0 Inspiring prayers relating to Nature all in local language .<\/p>\n

All the participants will bring home made indigenous food to share and learn eating without generating any waste.\u00a0 All present , will share their time, food, ideas and plans to become more Nature Friendly.<\/p>\n

Environmentalist, Activists and Nature Lovers, Vandana Shiva, Dilip Chinchalkar , Dev Kumar Vasudevan\u00a0 , Ashish Dubey,\u00a0 Shubha Vaidya ,Rashmi Joshi,Chinmay Mishra, Anurag Shukla\u00a0 \u00a0Dinesh Kothari\u00a0 and Sameer Sharma and Green Heroes of Indore Mr Arun Dike, Ambrish Kela and PTC\u2019s head SP Maneesha Pathak Soni , Janak Palta McGilligan will facilitate different sessions .<\/p>\n

One week programmes will be concluded with action plans like dropping seed balls on neghbouring hilltops and participating in hundreds of thousands Tree plantation on Dev Guradia Mountain\u00a0 and in Indore on July2, 2017 . Participants will also be motivated to adopt waste free life style , going for Organic food and\u00a0 use of renewable sources energy .<\/p>\n

Valedictory programme starts at 11. 30 on June 6, 2017 Maneesha Pathak sharing the experience of planting 13,500 trees and Sameer Sharma on\u00a0 Water Conservation. Participants will share week long learning and action plans .\u00a0 Programme will be presided by Mrs Smita Bharadwaj<\/em>,\u00a0IAS<\/em> Managing Director \u00a0MPFC, and Chief Guest will be Vandana Shiva .<\/p>\n

On Jan1, 2017, Inaugural programme will include\u00a0 Viewing Sun set ,welcome and Introduction of UNEP by Janak Palta McGilligan followed by opening remarks by Mr. Dev Kumar Vasudevan and Shubha Vaidya ,\u00a0 Prayers ,Poetry and Music by Sangeet Gurukul,\u00a0 Painting on the theme of Nature\u00a0 . A\u00a0 Slide show will be given by Sameer Sharma on \u201cPurpose of life: Spiritual Responsibility to Save Nature \u201c .<\/p>\n
